Today we started Chapter 9, covering Section 9.1 over sequences. We will be having a Chapter 9 Test next Friday, May 7th. Here's the HW for tonight: HW 75
I'll be gone Thursday and Friday of this week. Here's the game plan: Thursday, April 15th: If you are in period 5a or 6th, you'll need to watch the video lesson on Section 8.3 (broken into four parts at the end of this blog post) during class. Please watch with headphones on as not to disturb your neighbor and ask the sub if you have any questions! When you're done you can complete the following HW assignment:
HW 71 (for Thursday) Section 8.3 (pg. 608) #'s 4, 6, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 40, 42, 44 Friday, April 16th: The sub will go over the 8.3b notes with you. When the lesson is done, you can work on the following HW assignment: HW 72 (for Friday) Section 8.3 (pg. 608) #'s 28, 38, 52, 56, 60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70
Turn in all assignments in to me on Monday. Thanks and good luck!
1) On problem # 12 you need to find 3 unknowns but you've been given 4 equations. You only need to use 3 of them and it doesn't matter which you pick.
2) #13 b asks you to sketch the system of inequalities and then to find the points of intersection. I found the intersection points (you can see my work underneath the shading) but the calculation was a little messier than you'd have to get into on a test so you can disregard finding the intersection points if you want.
